This last Monday, November 25th, New Orleans EMS was excited to officially welcome the new EMT and Paramedic recruits to the city ranks! These men and women worked diligently to pass the NOEMS recruitment and training course before beginning their training ride alongs with their FTOs.
New Orleans EMS was honored to have Mayor LaToya Cantrell, Police Chief Ferguson, and other honored members of the city offices in attendance. We agree Mayor! This is a city of yes!
The men and women of NOEMS wear their uniforms with pride- and it's an honor to represent such an amazing city. Mayor Cantrell gave a lovely speech and went on to say, "Congratulations to our newest members of @NewOrleansEMS! Today amazing men and women graduated and will be on the streets tomorrow taking care of you and me! Thank you for choosing New Orleans! I love you and appreciate your hard work and what you give to our residents." She concluded by reminding us all that the city has your back.
